User Guide

Everything you need to know about using Akievo — from creating your first AI-generated board to mastering advanced features.

Akievo is AI project management software: you describe a goal and it builds a Kanban board with lists, tasks, dates, dependencies and a timeline. This guide covers every part of the product, from your first AI-generated board to critical path scheduling, Trello import and connecting AI agents over MCP.

    Getting Started

    5 sections

    What is Akievo?

Akievo is an AI-powered project management platform that turns your goals into actionable plans. Whether you're managing personal life goals or running a business project, Akievo uses artificial intelligence to help you break down complex objectives into structured, manageable tasks organised on a Kanban board.

Unlike traditional project management tools, Akievo starts with your goal — not a blank board. You describe what you want to achieve, the AI asks clarifying questions, and then generates a complete project plan with lists, cards, due dates, priorities, and dependencies.

    Creating an Account

To get started with Akievo, visit the sign-up page and create an account using your email address. You can also sign up using Google or GitHub for a faster onboarding experience.

After signing up, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to confirm your account. Once verified, you can sign in and start creating boards.

    Tips
    • Use a strong password with at least 8 characters.
    • You can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) later in your account settings for extra security.

    AI Board Creation Wizard

The AI Board Creation Wizard is Akievo's signature feature. It's a guided 3-step process that builds a complete project board from your goal:

Step 1 — Describe your goal: Enter a brief description of what you want to achieve. This can be anything from "Plan my wedding" to "Launch a SaaS product" or "Learn to play guitar."

Step 2 — Answer clarifying questions: The AI will ask a few targeted questions to better understand the scope, timeline, and specifics of your goal. These might include deadlines, team size, budget constraints, or specific milestones.

Step 3 — Preview your board: The AI generates a full Kanban board with lists (stages), cards (tasks), due dates, priorities, and even dependencies between tasks. You can review the entire board structure before proceeding.

You can try this process even without an account — the AI wizard is available on the landing page for anyone to explore.

    Tips
    • Be as specific as possible when describing your goal. The more detail you provide, the better the AI-generated plan will be.
    • You can also provide additional context in Step 2 to guide the AI further.

    Claiming a Board

After the AI generates your board preview, you'll see a "Claim Board" button. Claiming a board copies it into your account as a fully editable project board. If you're not signed in yet, you'll be prompted to create an account or log in before claiming.

Once claimed, the board appears in your dashboard under your default workspace, ready for you to customise, add cards, change due dates, and start working through your plan.

    Your Dashboard

The dashboard is your home base in Akievo. After logging in, you'll see:

    • Workspaces — Organisational containers that group related boards together. You start with a default workspace.
    • Boards — Each board represents a project or goal. Click any board to open it.
    • Quick actions — Create new boards, workspaces, or use the AI wizard directly from the dashboard.
    • Invitations — Any pending invitations to collaborate on boards or workspaces will appear here.
    • Shared boards — Boards that other users have shared with you.

The sidebar navigation lets you jump between your dashboard, My Tasks (a cross-board task view), Notes, Agents, Archive, Support, and Account settings.

    Understanding Kanban

    5 sections

    What is Kanban?

Kanban is a visual project management method originally developed by Toyota for manufacturing efficiency. The word "Kanban" comes from Japanese and means "visual card" or "signboard."

In Akievo, Kanban is represented as a board with vertical columns (called lists) that represent stages of your workflow. Tasks (called cards) move from left to right across these columns as they progress. This gives you a clear, at-a-glance view of where every task stands.

A typical Kanban setup might have columns like "To Do," "In Progress," and "Done" — but Akievo's AI creates custom column names that match your specific project.

    Lists (Columns)

Lists are the vertical columns on your Kanban board. Each list represents a stage or category in your workflow. For example, a software project might have lists like "Backlog," "Design," "Development," "Testing," and "Done."

Adding lists: Click the "+ Add list" button on the right side of your board to create a new column. Renaming lists: Click on a list title to edit it inline. Reordering lists: Drag a list by its header to move it to a different position. Deleting/archiving: Use the list menu (three dots) to archive or delete a list.

Lists can also have access controls — you can restrict who can see or edit cards within specific lists.

    Cards (Tasks)

Cards are the individual tasks or items within a list. Each card has a title and can contain a rich set of details including descriptions, due dates, priorities, labels, checklists, comments, file attachments, and more.

Adding cards: Click the "+ Add card" button at the bottom of any list, type a title, and press Enter. Opening cards: Click on any card to open the Card Detail Sheet, where you can view and edit all of the card's properties. Quick editing: You can quickly edit a card's title by clicking on it directly in the board view.

    Tip
    • You can add multiple cards quickly by pressing Enter after each title — the input stays focused for rapid entry.

    Drag and Drop

Drag and drop is the primary way to move and organise cards on your Kanban board.

Moving cards between lists: Click and hold a card, then drag it to another list to change its stage. For example, drag a task from "To Do" to "In Progress" when you start working on it. Reordering cards within a list: Drag cards up or down within the same list to change their priority or order. Visual indicators: As you drag, you'll see a placeholder showing where the card will be dropped.

All drag-and-drop changes are saved automatically and reflected in real time for all board members.

    Adding Lists and Cards

Adding a new list: Scroll to the right end of your board and click the "+ Add list" button. Enter a name for the list and press Enter or click away.

Adding a new card: At the bottom of any list, click "+ Add card." Type the card title and press Enter. The card is created immediately and you can click on it to add more details.

Importing cards: You can also import cards from external sources using the Quick Import feature, which accepts pasted text (one task per line), JSON, or CSV formats. Akievo also supports importing from Trello.

    Tip
    • Use the Quick Import feature to bulk-add tasks — just paste a list of items, one per line.

    Working with Cards

    13 sections

    Card Detail Sheet

Click on any card to open the Card Detail Sheet — a slide-over panel that displays all of the card's information. From here you can edit every aspect of the card.

The detail sheet is divided into several areas:
    • Header — Card title (editable inline), list location, and status badges.
    • Description — A Markdown-enabled text area for detailed notes, instructions, or context.
    • Properties panel — Labels, priority, dates, assignees, estimated duration, and status toggles.
    • Checklists — Sub-task lists with progress tracking.
    • Dependencies — Links to cards that block or are blocked by this card.
    • Comments — A discussion thread for team collaboration.
    • Attachments — Uploaded files with preview support.
    • Activity — A timeline of all changes made to the card.

    Labels

Labels are colour-coded tags you can attach to cards for categorisation and quick visual identification. Each board has its own set of labels.

Adding labels: Open a card, click on the Labels section, and choose from existing labels or create a new one. Custom names and colours: Each label can have a name (e.g., "Bug," "Feature," "Urgent") and a colour. Filtering by labels: Use the Filter panel to show only cards with specific labels.

Labels appear as small coloured badges on cards in the board view, making it easy to spot categories at a glance.

    Priority Levels

Every card can be assigned a priority level to indicate its importance:

    • Urgent — Critical tasks that need immediate attention (red indicator).
    • High — Important tasks that should be addressed soon (orange indicator).
    • Medium — Standard tasks with normal priority (yellow indicator).
    • Low — Tasks that can wait (blue indicator).

Priority is set from the card detail sheet or can be changed in bulk using Bulk Actions. The AI Copilot can also suggest priority changes based on due dates and dependencies.

    Due Dates and Start Dates

Cards can have both a start date and a due date, enabling timeline and Gantt chart views.

Due date: The date by which the task should be completed. Cards with overdue due dates are highlighted in red. Start date: The date when work on the task is expected to begin. Date picker: Click on the date fields in the card detail sheet to open a calendar picker.

Due dates appear on card previews in the board view and are used by the Calendar, Timeline, and Dashboard views to organise and visualise your schedule.

    Tip
    • Enable due-date reminders from your account settings to receive notifications before tasks are due.

    Estimated Duration

You can set an estimated duration (in days) for each card. This is used by the Timeline/Gantt view to calculate how long each task bar should be. If no estimated duration is set but both start and due dates exist, the duration is calculated automatically.

Estimated duration helps with project planning and gives the AI Copilot better context when making suggestions about scheduling and resource allocation.

    Assignees

Assign team members to cards to indicate who is responsible for completing the task.

Adding assignees: Open a card and click on the Assignees section to see a list of board members. Click on a member to assign or unassign them. Multiple assignees: Cards can have multiple assignees for collaborative tasks. Avatar display: Assigned members' avatars appear on the card in the board view. AI agents: If you've added AI agents to your workspace, they can also be assigned to cards.

You can filter the board to show only cards assigned to you using the filter panel.

    Checklists

Checklists allow you to break down a card into smaller sub-tasks with individual completion tracking.

Adding a checklist: In the card detail sheet, scroll to the Checklists section and click "Add checklist." Adding items: Type each sub-task and press Enter to add it. Completing items: Click the checkbox next to any item to mark it as done. Progress bar: A visual progress bar shows the completion percentage of the checklist. Reordering: Drag items to reorder them within the checklist. Deleting items: Hover over an item and click the delete icon to remove it.

    Comments

The comments section on each card provides a threaded discussion area for team collaboration.

Adding comments: Type your message in the comment box at the bottom of the card detail sheet and click Send. Markdown support: Comments support Markdown formatting for rich text, links, and code blocks. Notifications: Board members receive notifications when new comments are posted on cards they're assigned to or following.

Comments are timestamped and show the author's name and avatar.

    File Attachments

You can upload files to any card for reference, documentation, or deliverables.

Uploading: Click the attachment area in the card detail sheet to upload files, or drag and drop files directly. Supported files: Images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, and more. Image preview: Image files can be previewed directly within the card. Cover image: Set an image attachment as the card's cover image, which appears as a banner on the card in the board view. Files view: All attachments across the entire board can be browsed in the dedicated Files view.

    Card Status

Cards have several status indicators that help you track their state:

    • Completed — Mark a card as done by clicking the completion toggle. Completed cards show a checkmark and a timestamp of when they were finished.
    • Blocked — Flag a card as blocked when it can't proceed. You can provide a reason for the block, and the card will display a blocked indicator.
    • Milestone — Flag important deliverables as milestones. Milestones appear prominently in the Dashboard and Board Report views.
    • Archived — Move cards out of active view without deleting them. Archived cards can be restored later.

These status indicators are visible on card previews and are used by the filtering and reporting features.

    Recurring Tasks

For tasks that repeat on a regular schedule, you can set up recurrence rules.

Setting recurrence: In the card detail sheet, enable the Recurrence option and configure the pattern:
    • Daily — Repeats every N days.
    • Weekly — Repeats on specific days of the week.
    • Monthly — Repeats on a specific day of the month.
    • Yearly — Repeats annually on a specific date.

When a recurring card is completed, a new instance is automatically created according to the recurrence rule, ensuring you never miss a repeated task.

    Dependencies

Dependencies define relationships between cards — specifically which tasks must be completed before others can begin.

Adding dependencies: In the card detail sheet, use the Dependencies section to link cards as "blocks" (this card blocks another) or "blocked by" (this card is blocked by another). Visual indicators: Cards with dependencies show a link icon. Blocked cards display a warning if their blocking tasks aren't yet complete. Critical Path view: Dependencies are visualised as connecting arrows in the dedicated Dependencies/Critical Path view.

Dependencies are crucial for complex projects where task sequencing matters.

    Duplicate and Copy Cards

You can duplicate a card to create an identical copy within the same board. The duplicate includes the card's title, description, labels, priority, and checklists. You can also copy card details to your clipboard for sharing.

Duplication is useful when you have similar tasks that share most properties but differ in a few specifics.

    Board Views

    10 sections

    Kanban View (Default)

The Kanban view is the default board view and shows your lists as vertical columns with cards arranged inside them. This is the primary view for day-to-day task management.

    Features of the Kanban view:
    • Drag-and-drop cards between lists.
    • Inline card editing.
    • Quick card creation at the bottom of each list.
    • Visual indicators for priority, due dates, labels, assignees, checklists, and attachments.
    • Horizontal scrolling for boards with many lists.

    Dashboard View

The Dashboard view provides an at-a-glance overview of your board's health and progress. It displays key metrics including:

    • Completion rate — Percentage of cards marked as done.
    • Total cards — Number of active cards on the board.
    • Overdue cards — Cards past their due date.
    • At-risk cards — Cards approaching their due date.
    • Cards by list — Distribution of cards across your lists.
    • Priority breakdown — How many cards are at each priority level.

The Dashboard is ideal for quick status checks and stakeholder updates.

    Board Report

The Board Report is a comprehensive executive summary of your board that can be printed or exported as PDF. It includes:

    • Overall progress and completion metrics.
    • Blockers — Cards that are currently blocked, with their reasons.
    • Cards needing triage — Tasks that haven't been prioritised or dated.
    • Upcoming milestones — Key deliverables and their due dates.
    • Timeline of activity — Recent changes and updates.
    • Overdue items — Tasks past their deadline.

The report is designed to be shared with stakeholders who need a summary without accessing the full board.

    Tip
    • Use the print function (Ctrl/Cmd + P) from the Board Report view to generate a clean PDF.

    Table / List View

The Table view displays all cards in a spreadsheet-style format with sortable columns. This is useful when you need to see all card properties side by side.

    Columns include:
    • Title
    • List (which column the card belongs to)
    • Priority
    • Due date
    • Assignees
    • Labels
    • Status

Click on any column header to sort the table. Click on a row to open the card's detail sheet. The Table view is especially useful for boards with many cards where the Kanban view becomes crowded.

    Calendar View

The Calendar view arranges cards on a monthly calendar based on their due dates. Cards with both start and due dates span multiple days.

    • Navigate between months using the arrow buttons.
    • Click on a card in the calendar to open its detail sheet.
    • Cards are colour-coded by priority.
    • Overdue cards are highlighted.

This view is ideal for deadline-driven projects where you need to see when tasks are due relative to each other.

    Timeline / Gantt View

The Timeline (Gantt chart) view displays cards as horizontal bars on a time axis. Each bar represents the duration of a task from its start date to its due date.

    • Drag to reschedule: Move bars left or right to change dates.
    • Resize bars: Drag the edges of a bar to change the start or due date.
    • Dependencies: Arrow lines connect dependent tasks.
    • Grouping: Cards are grouped by their list.

The Timeline view is perfect for project scheduling and understanding how tasks overlap and relate to each other over time.

    Tip
    • Set both start dates and due dates on your cards to get the most out of the Timeline view.

    Eisenhower Matrix

The Eisenhower Matrix view organises your cards into four quadrants based on urgency and importance:

    • Do First (Urgent + Important) — High-priority tasks with approaching deadlines.
    • Schedule (Important, Not Urgent) — Important tasks that can be planned.
    • Delegate (Urgent, Not Important) — Time-sensitive but lower-priority tasks.
    • Eliminate (Not Urgent, Not Important) — Tasks to reconsider or remove.

Cards are automatically placed into quadrants based on their priority and due date, but you can drag cards between quadrants to reclassify them. This view is based on Dwight D. Eisenhower's decision-making framework and helps you focus on what truly matters.

    Dependencies / Critical Path

The Dependencies view provides a visual graph of how your cards relate to each other through dependency links.

    • Node graph: Each card appears as a node. Arrows connect cards that have dependency relationships.
    • Drag cards: Reposition cards on the canvas to organise the visual layout.
    • Draw connections: Create new dependencies by drawing arrows between cards.
    • Critical path highlighting: The longest chain of dependent tasks (the critical path) is highlighted, helping you identify which tasks directly impact your project's timeline.

This view is essential for complex projects with many interdependent tasks.

    Files View

The Files view aggregates all file attachments across your entire board into a single browsable gallery. You can:

    • View all uploaded files with thumbnails.
    • Filter by file type.
    • Click on a file to preview it or open the card it belongs to.
    • See which card each file is attached to.

This is useful for quickly finding documents, images, or deliverables without searching through individual cards.

    Activity Feed

The Activity Feed shows a chronological log of all actions performed on the board. Every change is recorded, including:

    • Cards created, moved, edited, or deleted.
    • List changes.
    • Member additions and role changes.
    • Comments posted.
    • Files uploaded.
    • Status changes (completed, blocked, etc.).

Each activity entry shows who made the change, what was changed, and when. This serves as a complete audit trail of your project's history.

    Search, Filter & Sort

    3 sections

    Filter Panel

The Filter panel provides advanced filtering options to narrow down which cards are visible on the board. Available filters include:

    • Priority — Show only cards with specific priority levels.
    • Labels — Filter by one or more labels.
    • Due date — Show overdue cards, cards due today, this week, or with no due date.
    • Assigned to me — Show only cards assigned to you.
    • Needs triage — Cards without priority or due dates.
    • Status — Filter by completed, blocked, or active cards.

Filters can be combined — for example, show only "High priority" cards that are "Assigned to me" and "Due this week." Active filters are shown as badges below the search bar.

    Sorting in Table View

In the Table view, click on any column header to sort all cards by that property. Click again to reverse the sort order. You can sort by:

    • Title (alphabetical)
    • Priority (urgent first or low first)
    • Due date (nearest first or furthest first)
    • List position
    • Creation date

Sorting in the Table view doesn't affect the card order in other views.

    AI Copilot

    5 sections

    Opening the AI Copilot

The AI Copilot is an intelligent assistant that can help you manage your board using natural language. Open it by clicking the AI Copilot button in the board header (the robot icon).

The Copilot panel slides open on the right side of the board and provides a chat-style interface where you can type commands or ask questions about your project.

    Natural Language Commands

You can interact with the AI Copilot using plain English. Some examples:

    • "Add a card called 'Design homepage' to the To Do list with high priority."
    • "Move all completed cards to the Done list."
    • "What's the status of my project?"
    • "Set the due date for 'Launch website' to next Friday."
    • "Which cards are overdue?"
    • "Suggest priorities for cards that don't have one."

The AI understands your board's structure — lists, cards, members, labels — and can make changes or provide insights accordingly.

    Slash Commands

For quick actions, the Copilot supports slash commands:

    • /help — Show available commands.
    • /stats — Get a quick summary of board statistics.
    • /overdue — List all overdue cards.
    • /search [term] — Search for cards matching a term.
    • /blocked — List all blocked cards.
    • /suggest — Get AI suggestions for your board.

Slash commands are shortcuts that produce instant results without needing to phrase a full sentence.

    Applying AI Suggestions

When the AI Copilot suggests changes — such as adding cards, changing priorities, or setting due dates — each suggestion is presented as a preview that you can apply or dismiss.

Single actions: Click "Apply" next to an individual suggestion to execute it. Batch actions: When the AI suggests multiple changes, you can apply them all at once with "Apply All." Undo: After applying AI suggestions, you can undo the entire batch to revert all changes.

The AI never makes changes without your explicit approval.

    Board Memory

Board Memory is a persistent context store for the AI Copilot. It's a text field (found in Board Settings → Board Memory) where you can describe:

    • The purpose and goals of the project.
    • Key constraints or requirements.
    • Team roles and responsibilities.
    • Terminology specific to your project.

The AI Copilot reads this memory every time you interact with it, giving it richer context about your project. This results in more relevant and accurate suggestions.

    Tip
    • Keep your Board Memory concise but informative — think of it as a project brief for the AI.

    Collaboration & Sharing

    4 sections

    Sharing & Access Control

Akievo provides granular access control for boards. You can share boards with specific people and assign them different roles:

    • Owner — Full control including the ability to delete the board and manage all settings.
    • Admin — Can manage members, settings, and all cards.
    • Editor — Can create, edit, and move cards.
    • Viewer — Can see the board but cannot make changes.

Access is managed from the Board Settings menu under "Share & Access."

    Inviting Members

You can invite people to collaborate on your boards, workspaces, individual lists, or even specific cards:

Board invitations: Send an email invitation with a specific role. The recipient receives a link to join. Workspace invitations: Invite someone to a workspace, giving them access to all boards within it. List sharing: Share individual lists with external users who only need access to specific areas. Card invitations: Grant access to a single card for focused collaboration.

Invitations expire after a set period and can be resent or revoked from the settings.

    Public Boards

You can make a board public by generating a share link. Public boards can be viewed by anyone with the link, without needing an Akievo account.

Public boards are read-only for viewers. They can see all lists, cards, and details but cannot make changes. Viewers can clone a public board into their own account to create an editable copy.

Public boards are useful for sharing project plans, roadmaps, or read-only status updates with stakeholders.

    Access Requests

If someone visits a board they don't have access to, they can submit an access request. Board owners and admins receive a notification and can approve or decline the request.

This provides a controlled way for people to discover and join boards without requiring a direct invitation.

    Board Settings & Management

    8 sections

    General Settings

Access board settings from the gear icon in the board header. The General tab lets you:

    • Edit the board title and description.
    • Move the board to a different workspace.
    • Archive the board — Hides it from the dashboard without deleting it.
    • Delete the board — Permanently removes the board and all its data (owner only).

    Board Appearance & Styling

Customise how your board looks under the Styling settings:

    • Board colour — Choose a background colour for the entire board.
    • Background image — Upload or link a background image.
    • Background opacity — Adjust the transparency of the background image.
    • List style — Choose between default, compact, or comfortable card sizes.

Styling changes are personal — they affect how the board appears for you but the board colour is shared with all members.

    Webhooks

Webhooks allow you to send real-time event notifications to external URLs. When events happen on your board (cards created, moved, completed, etc.), Akievo sends an HTTP POST request to your configured webhook URL.

    Setting up webhooks:
    1. Go to Board Settings → Webhooks.
    2. Click "Add Webhook."
    3. Enter a name, URL, and select which events to listen for.
    4. Optionally add a secret for request signing.

Webhooks are useful for integrating Akievo with other tools, automating workflows, or building custom notifications.

    Slack Integration

Connect your board to a Slack channel to receive automatic notifications about board activity. When events occur — such as cards being created, moved, or completed — a message is posted to the linked Slack channel.

    Setup:
    1. Go to Board Settings → Slack.
    2. Connect your Slack workspace.
    3. Select the channel to receive notifications.
    4. Choose which events trigger messages.

    Bulk Assign & Bulk Actions

The Bulk Actions feature lets you make changes to multiple cards at once:

Bulk Assign: Select multiple cards and assign them to a team member in one action. Bulk Actions: Select multiple cards and apply changes such as:
    • Move to a different list.
    • Change priority.
    • Set or update due dates.
    • Add labels.
    • Archive or delete.

Access bulk actions from the Board Settings menu. A preview dialog shows exactly what will change before you confirm.

Copy Board & Save as Template

Copy board: Create a duplicate of an entire board, including all lists, cards, and their properties. Useful for creating similar projects or making backup copies.

Save as template: Save your board's structure as a reusable template. Templates preserve lists, card titles, descriptions, labels, and checklists — but not specific dates or assignees. You and your workspace members can create new boards from templates, saving time on repeated project types.

Templates are managed at the workspace level and can be edited or deleted from the dashboard.

    Exporting a Board

Export your board data in several formats:

    • JSON — Full structured export of all board data, suitable for backup or API integration.
    • Text/Markdown — Human-readable summary of the board, ideal for pasting into documents or emails.
    • Print — Optimised print layout for the Board Report view.

Exports include all cards, lists, descriptions, dates, priorities, labels, and checklists.

    Archive Management

Archived cards and lists are moved out of the active board view but not deleted. You can access the Archive Manager from the board menu to:

    • Browse all archived items.
    • Restore individual cards or lists to the active board.
    • Permanently delete archived items.

Archiving is useful for keeping completed sprints, old tasks, or retired features out of your way without losing the data.

    Workspaces

    4 sections

    What is a Workspace?

A workspace is an organisational container that groups related boards together. Think of it as a folder for your projects.

    Examples:
    • A "Personal" workspace for life goals, hobbies, and personal projects.
    • A "Work" workspace for professional projects.
    • A "Client Projects" workspace for client-facing boards.

Every board belongs to exactly one workspace. When you sign up, a default workspace is created for you automatically.

    Creating Workspaces

Create a new workspace from the dashboard sidebar by clicking "+ New Workspace" or using the workspace dropdown menu. You'll need to provide a name and can optionally add a description.

Your subscription plan determines how many workspaces you can create (Free plan: 1, Starter plan: 2, Pro plan: unlimited, Pro Plus plan: unlimited).

    Workspace Members & Roles

Workspace members have access to all boards within the workspace (subject to board-level permissions). Roles include:

    • Owner — Created the workspace. Full control, including deleting the workspace.
    • Admin — Can manage members, create boards, and modify workspace settings.
    • Member — Can view and access boards within the workspace.

Invite members by email from the workspace settings. When a new member joins, they automatically gain access to all existing boards in the workspace.

    Workspace Settings

Access workspace settings from the workspace dropdown in the sidebar. Settings include:

    • Name and description — Edit the workspace details.
    • Members — Manage workspace members and their roles.
    • Templates — View and manage board templates saved to this workspace.
    • Delete workspace — Remove the workspace and optionally reassign or delete its boards (owner only).

    Beyond Boards

    6 sections

    My Tasks

My Tasks is a cross-board task aggregator that shows all cards assigned to you across every board and workspace in one unified list.

Cards are organised by status (active, completed, overdue) and you can:
    • Click on any task to open its card detail sheet.
    • See which board and list each task belongs to.
    • Quickly identify overdue or high-priority tasks.

My Tasks is accessible from the sidebar navigation and is your personal command centre for staying on top of everything.

    Notes

The Notes feature provides a full rich-text editor for writing and organising notes outside of your boards. Notes are organised into notebooks.

    • Notebooks — Create multiple notebooks to organise notes by topic or project.
    • Rich text editor — Full formatting support including headings, bold, italic, underline, links, bullet lists, and more (powered by a WYSIWYG editor).
    • Tabs — Open multiple notes simultaneously in tabs for easy switching.
    • Auto-save — Notes are saved automatically as you type.

Notes are useful for meeting minutes, brainstorming, project documentation, or any free-form writing that doesn't fit neatly into a task card.

    Agent Workspace

The Agent Workspace feature allows you to connect external AI agents to your Akievo boards. Agents can be assigned to cards, run automated workflows, and interact with your project data through a chat interface.

Adding agents: Register an agent in the Agent Registry by providing its endpoint URL and configuration. Assigning to cards: Agents can be assigned to cards just like human team members. Executions: Track agent activity, progress, and results in the Execution log. Chat: Communicate with agents through a built-in chat interface.

The Agent Workspace is designed for power users and teams building automated project management workflows.
